Almost always — but every price is based on average vehicle size and condition, and is subject to inspection. If your vehicle needs more preparation than usual, we discuss it and get your approval before we start. You will never get a surprise on the invoice.

Normal contamination is included in the price — we're going to strip it back anyway. Heavy mud, sand, clay or excessive debris is a different job, and may require an additional cleaning charge. Bring it as it is and we'll tell you.

That needs to come off before we can do anything worth paying for. Removal of rubberising, bitumen products and aftermarket coatings is quoted separately, and vehicles with previous coatings or modifications may need extra preparation.

Typical turnaround for Military treatments is 7–10 working days. It comes apart properly, so it isn't a same-day job.

It depends on where you drive, where you park, how long you intend to keep the vehicle and what it's up against. A coastal bakkie that launches boats is a different conversation to a garaged commuter. That's a five-minute chat, not a form.

No. Coating over existing corrosion is the single biggest mistake in this industry — the rust carries on underneath, out of sight, and you've paid to hide it.

Where required, our preparation includes rust removal and rust neutralisation before any protective product goes on. That's what makes the coating stick and stay stuck.

Yes. Wheels are removed and marked so they go back correctly, and the wheel wells and arches get treated. Wheel arches are where salt lives.

Removed where fitted. Anything bolted over metal is hiding metal, and hidden metal is exactly what we're here for. Everything that comes off is reinstalled and inspected before delivery.

Both get rust removal, wheels off, the C5-I marine coating, Weekend Warrior oil and Titan Cavity Wax.

Full Military adds a protective clear coat, engine bay and cavity protection, door hinges and panels, and an interior refresh with industrial fallout removal and UV hand polish — and it carries the transferable lifetime warranty. Military carries the limited one.

Because corrosion doesn't start where you can see it. It starts inside chassis rails, body cavities, overlapping panels and weld seams, where moisture gets trapped and never dries.

Titan Cavity Wax penetrates seams, overlaps, folds and internal channels — the places a coating physically cannot reach, no matter who applies it.

It's a penetrating drying oil that displaces moisture and repels water in hard-to-access areas. Different job to the wax: the wax coats and stays, the oil creeps in and pushes water out. It's included on selected treatments.

The Transferable Lifetime Workmanship Warranty applies to Full Military Tough and Full Military. It covers workmanship, coating application defects and normal wear and tear for the lifetime of the vehicle.

On Full Military and Full Military Tough — yes. It transfers to the new owner, subject to annual inspections and applicable cleaning fees. That's worth real money at resale, and it's the main reason to choose Full Military over Military.

The Limited Lifetime warranty on Military Chassis & Underbody covers you for as long as you own the vehicle. It is not transferable.

No warranty covers accidents, mechanical damage, abuse or neglect, deliberate coating removal, modifications affecting treated areas, or damage caused by external factors beyond our control.

On the Military treatment, wear and tear is also excluded and is charged at a pro rata rate.

Corrosion Preventive Wax, Anti-Rust Top and Storage Protection. They give real protection and preservation benefits, but they don't carry lifetime warranty cover. Metal Guard is different again — it has a 12-month workmanship warranty on the restoration work.

Yes, if you want the warranty to stay active. Environmental exposure and normal use wear protection down over time — a yearly look lets us catch problems while they're still small.

On Full Military and Tough, any warranty touch-ups found at the inspection are done free. On Military, touch-ups are handled pro rata depending on the extent of wear.

Between R1 838.85 and R2 392.00 including VAT, depending on your vehicle class. It includes cleaning and de-salting, inspection of all treated areas, reapplication of maintenance oils and waxes where needed, and warranty touch-ups where applicable.

Think of it as a yearly health check for the protection system.

No. It's a service — you get cleaning, de-salting, inspection and reapplication of maintenance products for it. Keeping the warranty active is a consequence of maintaining the vehicle properly, not the thing you're buying.

Yes. The upgrade converts an existing Military treatment to Full Military specification and adds the transferable lifetime warranty. It runs R9 842.85 to R14 217.45 including VAT, depending on vehicle class.

It costs more than choosing Full Military up front, because we have to re-prepare, clean, inspect and rework surfaces we've already treated. If you know you want it, it's cheaper to say so now.

That's what the inspection is for. Severe corrosion needing extensive preparation may attract additional labour charges — but preventive protection is almost always significantly more affordable than corrosion repairs, and structural corrosion hits a vehicle's value hard once it takes hold.
